Only 436 cars where produced by Engineering Research and Application ltd from 1989 to 1990, out of this 337 where Japanese Spec cars which had the benefit of air conditioning.
The ERA Turbo was the fastest Mini ever built & designed to fill the gap after the Cooper S had been discontinued several years prior.
The spec is hugely different to other Minis of the period with modifications made to just about every part of nthe vehicle including:
