DESCRIPTION
Origin of the Mini Innocenti
The Innocenti Mini Cooper was born from an agreement between Italian manufacturer Innocenti and the British Motor Corporation (BMC) in the early 1960s. Innocenti began producing its own version of the Mini under license in 1965, and subsequently developed separate models, often more luxurious and with specific engines. The Mini Cooper 1300 marked an important milestone in this evolution.
Produced from February 1973 in larger quantities (around 28 units) than the "non-export" version (around 000 units produced from February 10), the 000 Cooper Export was distinguished by a more luxurious and better equipped interior (specific seats, better quality carpets, rear defroster, sometimes wooden steering wheel), minor aesthetic details ("Export" badge), and potentially slight technical differences (engine similar to the English Mini Cooper S, possible Hydrolastic suspension).
Our model
Here is a rare 1300 Mini Cooper 1975 Innocenti, in its Rosso Corsa color.
Our model is in beautiful condition. The cradles and engine were rebuilt a few years ago.
The bodywork is rust-free, the mechanics run perfectly and the interior is in its original configuration.
