DESCRIPTION
1999 Rover Mini Cooper S Works by John Cooper Garages in classic red and white.
This outstanding mini was bought by its last owner in 2002 and has been enjoyed and very well cared for, for the last 23 years.
He took it into John Cooper Garages in April 2003 when it was on 8800 miles and had it covered to 90 BHP S Works, which back then cost £1715.99.
The conversion makes the mini fantastic to drive and also very collectable as John Cooper and his garage are no longer with us, making this a price of motoring history.
It has lived a garage life and has mainly been used in the summer. It has covered just 29150 miles from new but to my eyes looks like a sub 10,000 mile mini.
To show this I have taken pictures of the underside which is all factory original and in lovely condition.
Most minis of this age don’t look like this! The interior is immaculate and the walnut dash and door capping are not faded due to its garaged life.
The full leather seats are also in great condition and the car still has its fresh smell.
To add to this already very appealing car there are bumper over-riders, Cooper spot lamp covers and a great sounding stainless steel exhaust.
It has been used to attend all of the mini shows and over the years the sun visors have been signed by, John Cooper, Paddy Hopkirk, Rauno Aaltonen, Paul Easter, Ron Crellin and Stuart Turner. As they say, try finding another one!
I have the original book pack, both sets of keys and the John Cooper Garage S Works invoice.
The gold in the back is unfortunately not real, but is included as is the very suitable number plate.
