DESCRIPTION
2000 Rover Mini Cooper S Works by John Cooper Garages. This outstanding Mini S Works was sold by John Cooper Garages new on the 4th October 2000 which was the same day that the last mini came off the production line.
The owner insisted it was registered on the day! It is very hard to find factory S Works Minis and this one has the super rare metal turned dashboard and door capping’s which I have only ever seen on 2 other S Works minis. It also has the leather deep supportive seats which again are very rare. The clocks are signed Cooper and the oil temperature gauge has been changed for an oil pressure gauge. It has signed door handles and window winders, John Cooper pedals and a rare gear knob. The passenger side sun visor is signed by John Cooper and the drivers side by Paddy Hopkirk!!
It has covered just 13600 miles by 4 owners in 22 years. It was also Meguiares / Mini World Concours Car of the Year 2014. The condition of the mini is outstanding, inside, outside and underneath. It is immaculate in every way and a joy to drive. It has the full length electric sunroof which adds a lot of fun on a sunny day. The left hand petrol cap is a dummy and it does not have twin tanks. I have a nice history file with lots of service stamps by John Cooper Garages and the original brochure which John Cooper has personally signed.
