DESCRIPTION

2001 Rover Mini Cooper Sport 500 S Works By John Cooper Garages.

This is one of the last ever 500 minis made and is number 192 making it very collectable.

It also has the John Cooper S Works conversion fitted by John Cooper Garages in 2002 when the mini was on 6496 miles at a cost of £2167.00.

The last 500 mini ever made also came with a signed certificate, glove box plaque and a gift pack which are all still with the car.

There is also a numbered S Works Conversion plaque on the car.

It was maintained form 2006 – 2017 by the Wood And Pickett Mini Centre which is a famous name from the 1960’s.

It has a very special Wood and Pickett metal sliding and tilt electric sunroof fitted by them which is the first I have ever seen.

It has ‘one touch’ operation and closes when you turn off the ignition.

It also has remote central locking which is connected to the factory fit fob and alarm / immobiliser which adds a modern convenience to locking and unlocking the mini.

Inside there is signed John Cooper door furniture.

Plus John Cooper kick plates on the door steps and John Cooper floor matts. Externally it has the correct Cooper S badging and S Works wheel centres.

It has covered a total of 65820 miles from new which is supported by a thick history file of servicing and past MOTs.

In 2016 Wood an Pickett had the gearbox rebuilt and also rebuilt the bottom end of the engine which cost around £6000.

Due to the bodywork being maintained and improved through its life the body condition to my eye is more similar to a mini on half of this mileage.

Equally the interior is clean and shows less ware than I would expect on this mileage.

The number plate is included and finishing off the striking look of the mini.

Due to being a Cooper Sport 500 with the John Cooper Garage conversion and with some unique

Wood and Pickett extras this mini is very collectable and a piece of history.

Rover, John Cooper Garages and Wood and Pickett are all now closed making this unrepeatable.
