DESCRIPTION
2000 Rover Mini Cooper Sport S Works 90 BHP by John Cooper Garages.
This outstanding S Works Mini has been owned by its last owner for 22 years.
He bought it on 1600 miles in 2002 and now it is on 4600 miles from new.
To my eye it has ever had any paintwork which is very rare and is equally immaculate.
I sell a lot of low mileage Minis and due to them living in a family garage there is normally a reason for paintwork and most have had minor rust.
This is a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’ to buy an original, ‘time warp’ S Works Mini.
As well as the John Cooper Garages conversion it also has the signed John Cooper door furniture and pedals.
It has recently had some Cooper Car Company S Works parts also fitted including the gear knob, seat pulls, door step plates, petrol cap and door signatures.
It is great to see the correct S Works Janspeed exhaust which has a unique sound and has normal been changed due to corrosion.
This mini has always been garaged and was lightly wax oiled a few years ago which has kept the underside in ‘time warp’ condition.
It drives really well and feels responsive, free revving and great fun.
I have just serviced it to include 4 new Yokohama A539 tyres.
The history file shows that it has been well maintained and serviced and I have the original book pack with a fully stamped service book.
I also have the 2 sets of keys both with John Cooper key rings and every MOT from new.
