DESCRIPTION

The special edition Mini Seven was released in 2000 as part of Rover's swan song 'Classic' Mini range and had a production run of 374 units. They were only available in three exterior colours; Old English White, Solar Red and Black, each with 12" Pepperpot alloy wheels, 1960's style cream cloth and red leatherette seats and a colour coded dashboard. All Mini Sevens were fitted with a 1275cc multi-point injection A-series engine - as standard on all Mk7 Minis - producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission.

This Rover Mini Seven was originally supplied by Priory of Nottingham on 24th May 2000 and is presented in stunning Solar Red over a luxurious cream cloth and red leatherette interior. The Mini has covered just 28,300 miles from new, and a mere 1,300 miles since 2018. The original owner cherished the car for approximately thirteen years and kept a detailed record of their meticulous maintenance schedule to include winter checkovers, lubrications and even tyre pressure checks.

The Mini is a splendid, unmolested example and has clearly been very well cared for. The body panels appear flush and straight and the correct vented sills are present both sides. The original factory ‘body’ number is present on the slam panel as well as the factory spot welds on the inner wings. The glass and trim are in excellent condition. The vehicle chassis number is correctly etched into the front and rear screens, whilst the original supplying dealer number plates remain in situ. All four Pepperpot alloy wheels are shod in new tyres. The undercarriage is in good order and has been waxoyl protected. The cabin is in wonderful, clean condition, as conducive with the low mileage. There are no tears to the seats, headlining or carpet and the original ‘Mini’ branded radio cassette and red mats are present. The 1275cc multi-point injection engine is strong and pulls impeccably and the gear synchros are all in good order with no crunches on changes.

The Mini is sold newly MOT’d with no advisories and also benefits from a recent new RC40 exhaust. Supplied with the Mini are two sets of keys and a comprehensive history file dating back to the point of first registration including a fully stamped service book.
