DESCRIPTION
We are very pleased to offer a stunning 1997 Rover Mini Cooper Sportspack, finished in the ever popular and classic British Racing green with a contrasting white roof and bonnet stripes. This genuine Cooper Sportspack has lived a charmed life and with just two owners from new and is presented in fantastic condition throughout. It has only covered just 41k in 27 years and has spent most of its life with the same family. Supplied new by Martins of Winchester, the original order form and sales invoice are still present as well as comprehensive service history right back to day one including every MOT certificate and previous tax discs. It still has its original dealer number plates and window sticker. It also has its original handbooks and service book which is stamped right through to the spare pages at the back. Both sets of keys and fobs are also present.
On the road this Cooper delivers. The smooth engine, which is near silent, pulls well through the rev range and the gearbox is smooth and precise. The Cooper is in its original factory specification and as such offers the pure Mini driving experience. You will certainly be smiling. MPi Minis have a host of benefits, which make them such a popular choice. Which include a drivers airbag, side impact beams, an alarm and immobiliser, taller gearing for long distance cruising and are fuel injected so all you need to do is turn the key and go. All of the Classic Mini charm with a modern twist. We have also treated it to a Maniflow exhaust system that gives it the correct Cooper burble.
The interior is beautifully preserved and really does support its cared for life. It has full black leather trim that I have just treated and fed. Brand new walnut six clock dash with Magnolia dials and the original Rover cassette player is in full working order. The original carpets and roof liner are virtually unmarked. It also has a 12 volt socket and this model has rear seat belts.
This Cooper has a very solid shell with body coloured floor pans, untouched boot floor and unused spare tyre and the correct vented sills. The paintwork is gleaming and really does belie its vintage and is nearly blemish free, In the flesh this is a stunning example and deserves all the attention it gets.
We have fully serviced, checked and driven this Mini and it has a long MOT so is ready to go and be driven and enjoyed.
