DESCRIPTION

1975 Austin Mini 1275GT (Heritage Certificated) - Fully Rebuilt Just 1454 Miles Ago, Previously Stored 30+ Years

This is a Heritage Certificated Mini Clubman 1275GT first supplied on the 5th of September 1975 by Mann Egerton & Company of North Finchley, retaining her original suffix registration JBY 814N. Having covered just 1500 miles since a complete nut and bolt, vehicle, body and engine rebuild, this 1275GT is in impeccable condition. Prior to the restoration she spent at least thirty years in storage.

Her 1275cc engine has been completely rebuilt with all new pistons, bearings, timing chain etc. (all invoiced). Her suspension has been rebuilt with new Hi-lo’s, front adjustable tie bars and rear adjustable tracking / camber with all new doughnuts and bushes. She has generally been completely rebuilt with all new or refurbished parts, mainly supplied by Mini Sport. Key parts include; a new clutch, tyres, servo, sports exhaust, revolution alloys etc.

Her shell was taken back to bare metal and is very nice. Her underside was completely replaced with new panels and subframes. Her Revolution Alloy Alloys and tyres are brand new.

Driving beautifully, she has been professionally tuned and set-up to optimise her performance. Being supplied HPI clear with 12 months MOT with no advisories (she is mot exempt in fact which means that you do not have to MOT her), you can have peace of mind. Benefitting from free road tax, she is ready to enjoy.

Condition Report

She is well built and in relatively impeccable condition, both on top and underneath. We think you will love this 1275GT. One could maybe re-fit some of the original internal 1275GT features i.e. the steering wheel etc. which didn’t survive decades in storage but are readily available. Were we being picky, there are two teeny tiny bubbles on the bottom of the drivers door, almost hidden by the 1275GT decal, but the rest of the shell is impeccable. The previous owner decided upon a fibreglass front and actually did a generally very nice job, but purists may want to put her back and if so we have the panels.
