1969 Mini Cooper S Pickup
1-owner Mini Cooper S Sport Pack MPI Pickup. This is an original factory pickup, built on a slightly longer platform than the 2-door saloon (sedan). The only one like it in the world. Drivetrain and has documented 1243 ORIGINAL MILES from Rover factory. Rustfree, no bondo 1969 Austin pickup MkII shell with the complete running gear/drivetrain/suspension from a brand new unwrecked, unmolested 2000 MkVII saloon, including its twin-point injection MPI 1275cc (1.3L) and manual 4-spd. Almost everything is MkVII under the bonnet, and all MkVII undercarriage. Cooper Sport Pak fender flares, wheels, mirrors, decals. Built in late 2000 in Bristol UK and imported by me to the US in Dec 2000, delivery Jan 2001. Complete original pickup shell with its original and correct MKI sliding windows, glass, inset fuel filler, and tailgate. Custom magnolia color Connolly natural leather seats/shifter knob, walnut dash panel, Mountney walnut/alum steering wheel, matching color vinyl door panels and headliner, custom carpet. MKII dash controls/steering column. MKVII gauges, security system fob. Rhino vinyl-lined bed. Custom bed cover. Custom removable quarter-sawn oak bed stakes. Clear Waxoyl undercarriage coating. Dunlop SP Sport 13" tires. Zero rust ever. Perfect chrome and paint. No non-Mini parts used. Correct Mini colors: Nightfire red / Old English white. Just completely serviced and gone through thoroughly by classic Mini specialist in preparation for sale. This was a MiniWorld Magazine multi-page feature. Car and Driver video feature. Best in Class National Mini Meet, Best in Mini Class at every British car show entered, among many other awards. Climate-controlled garage. Exercised regularly but, obviously, sparingly.
