DESCRIPTION
The Mk1 mini 850! This example is just exceptional. having covered just 79,000 miles over the course of its life with its 3 former keepers from new!
The 1960 model year specific items are still correctly present such as the magic wand gear lever, floor push button start, sliding windows and original interior covers too.
This car was subjected to a sympathetic body and mechanical restoration in the early 2000s by its former owner. Supporting photos of the restoration show that this little car still retains its original floors, sills and outer panels. Repair work was taken place on the boot floor and rear valance where new panels were installed.
The engine and gearbox, subframes, suspension and brakes were all rebuilt at the same time too. The front and rear subframes are still original to the car with them having been stripped and refinished accordingly.
As a result of the above we have today a fabulous little low owner Mini ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian who can buy in confidence that this car is properly prepared and ready to go!
Great to drive, excellent panel gaps and presentation and hugely original.
Why not book a viewing? Our Coffee pot is always hot !
